"We will show them".. When the Royal word becomes a title for firmness

With the Public Security Directorate's announcement of the arrest of the three terrorists who carried out the attack, that phrase seemed to summarize a path of firmness and responsibility, the title of which is that crime will not pass without pursuit and accountability according to the law.

In a security operation carried out by specialized joint teams and security services at dawn yesterday, and after continuous efforts of searching, combing, and investigation, the forces were able to locate the three terrorists, who had fortified themselves inside an abandoned house and refused to surrender, before initiating gunfire towards the security force. According to the Public Security Directorate's statement, the force applied rules of engagement and was able to control the situation and arrest them after they were all wounded, with no injuries among the security force, while a collection of firearms and ammunition were seized in their possession.

This operation does not stop at the limits of a security success in locating the wanted individuals and arresting them, but rather reflects the importance of continuous intelligence, investigative, and field work, and the readiness required to confront terrorist crimes, leading to the protection of citizens and the consolidation of the rule of law.

It also confirms that dealing with such attacks is not based on fleeting reactions, but on organized institutional work, in which the competent authorities follow the threads of the case, pursue those involved, and work to bring them to justice, ensuring justice for the victims and safeguarding the security of society.

Perhaps what gives these developments their deepest significance is their association with the Royal position that expressed the leadership's closeness to the injured citizens and the rejection of targeting innocents in houses of worship. His Majesty the King's visit to the injured was not just a humanitarian duty to check on their condition, but carried a unifying national message that the state stands by every Jordanian, and that an attack on a citizen because of their place of worship or religious identity is an attack on Jordan's values and constants.

The security operation reaffirmed that confronting terrorism is a shared institutional and societal responsibility, and that protecting the nation is not limited to the efforts of the security services alone, despite their pivotal role, but also requires the awareness of citizens, the rejection of hate speech and extremism, and not allowing criminals to achieve their goals of spreading fear and division.

Between the pain left by the attack and the security efforts that ended with the arrest of its perpetrators, the most important message remains that Jordan will not allow terrorism to impose fear upon it or tamper with its national fabric.
