President Donald Trump on Friday praised the decision of European countries to pump diesel from their reserves, while downplaying the threat of a US ban on the export of this fuel.
Trump said at the White House in response to a question from a French Press Agency reporter about whether a US export ban was excluded, "In fact, it was never really on the table. But what Europe did was great".
