Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) CEO Mazen Al-Wathaifi stated that the Exchange calls on its listed companies to complete the submission of their third-quarter financial statements, reviewed by their auditors for the period ending 09/30/2026, via the XBRL electronic disclosure system, before the end of October 2026.
Al-Wathaifi confirmed that the Exchange will suspend trading in the shares of non-compliant companies that fail to provide the Exchange with their reviewed third-quarter interim financial statements. This suspension will take effect from the first business day following the end of October for a period of three business days. Trading will then resume in the same market where the shares are listed, in accordance with the restrictions issued by the Board of Directors in this regard, starting from the morning of the business day following the end of the specified suspension period, until these companies provide the required data. This is based on the provisions of Article (15) of the Listing of Securities Instructions for 2018, with the aim of enhancing the protection of dealers and investors in the securities market and providing them with necessary information in a timely manner to enable them to make investment decisions. He noted that after the deadline for receiving the reviewed interim statements, the Exchange will announce the names of the non-compliant companies through various media outlets.
