The number of registered companies in the Kingdom increased by 7.24% since the beginning of the year until September 30 compared to the same period last year

*A decrease in the number of companies whose registration was annulled or canceled by 15 percent from last year.

*A decrease in companies that were canceled/registration annulled in the same year of registration by an average of 50 percent compared to last year.

*An increase in capital by approximately one billion Jordanian dinars during the current year for the second consecutive year and an increase of approximately 48 million dinars over the previous year.

*92,193 companies activated their electronic accounts since the launch of electronic services for the Companies Monitoring Department at the end of 2020, including 5973 companies during the current year.

The number of registered companies in the Kingdom increased by 7.24 percent since the beginning of the current year until last September 30 compared to the same period last year.

The report issued by the Companies Monitoring Department showed that the number of companies registered during the first nine months of the current year reached 6046 compared to 5638 during the same period last year.

The total registered capital amounted to more than 201 million dinars, and the highest number of companies registered in terms of number was limited liability companies, which numbered 4682 companies, representing 77 percent of the registered companies with capital exceeding 76 million dinars.

The report also showed that the highest type of company registered in terms of capital in the current year was private shareholding with registered capital exceeding 77 million dinars.

The number of companies whose registration was annulled or canceled decreased by 15 percent from the same period last year, where their number reached 764 companies compared to 899 companies.

Regarding the number of companies that were canceled/registration annulled in the same year of registration, it decreased by an average of 50

percent from last year, with 10 companies out of 6046 registered companies in the current year compared to 20 companies that were canceled or registration annulled out of 5638 registered companies last year.

The report confirmed that the increase in capital reached approximately one billion dinars during the current year for the second consecutive year and an increase of about 48 million dinars over the previous year, while the number of companies that reduced their capital was 146 companies during the current year compared to 203 companies that reduced their capital last year, while 990 companies increased their capital during the current year compared to 1300 companies last year.

The report revealed that the number of companies that activated their electronic accounts since the launch of electronic services for the Companies Monitoring Department at the end of 2020 reached 92,193 companies, including 5973 companies during the current year
