The King Announces Signing of a Defense Cooperation Agreement with France

His Majesty the King said via his account on the 'X' platform: "I discussed with President Macron ways to enhance the established bilateral relations and continuous coordination, and we witnessed the signing of a defense cooperation agreement".
His Majesty added: "We held a meeting with the Lebanese President, during which we emphasized the importance of Paris hosting the Aqaba meetings to support the Lebanese Army, and we look forward to continuing to work to achieve stability in Lebanon and the region".
His Majesty arrived on Thursday at the venue of the Aqaba meetings in Paris regarding ways to support the Lebanese Army.
His Majesty, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun are presiding over a new round of the 'Aqaba Meetings' initiative in Paris to discuss ways to support the Lebanese Army.
