The Jordan Hotels Association and the Jordan Inbound Tour Operators Association conclude a working visit to Egypt to strengthen tourism and investment partnerships

A delegation from the Jordan Hotels Association and the Jordan Inbound Tour Operators Association concluded a working visit to the Arab Republic of Egypt, which included meetings and participatory sessions with major tourism offices and investment groups, including Al-Majeed Investment Group, to discuss opportunities for tourism cooperation and investment, exchange experiences and expertise, and enhance public-private partnerships.

Chairman of the Jordan Hotels Association, Hussein Hilalat, emphasized that the next phase requires moving from traditional meetings to actionable investment partnerships, noting the importance of benefiting from the Egyptian experience in developing tourism projects, attracting investments, and maximizing the economic return from the sector, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of Jordanian tourism.

For his part, President of the Jordan Inbound Tour Operators Association, Nabih Riyal, said that cooperation with Egyptian tourism offices opens horizons for developing joint tourism programs and increasing intra-tourism movement, stressing that integration between the tourism sector and governments forms a fundamental pillar for transforming partnerships into tangible economic results.

In turn, Vice Chairman of the Jordan Hotels Association, Hani Al-Dabbas, affirmed that the visit to the Giza Pyramids and reviewing the experience of private sector participation in managing tourism services and activities associated with archaeological sites reflects the importance of shifting from site management to maximizing their economic value while preserving their cultural heritage. He pointed out that the success of the partnership between the government and the private sector is measured by its ability to stimulate investment, raise the level and quality of services provided, enhance the visitor experience, extend the tourist's length of stay, increase their spending, and create job opportunities, stressing the importance of benefiting from successful experiences and developing models that suit the specificity of Jordanian tourist sites.

During the visit, the delegation participated in the signing ceremony of a cooperation protocol between the Raie Misr Foundation for Development, the Commercial International Bank (CIB) Foundation, and the National Alliance for Civil Development Work, which was held at the Koubbeh Presidential Palace in Cairo, with the aim of treating one million children in one thousand Egyptian villages. The ceremony included an official dinner and an artistic evening performed by Egyptian star Tamer Ashour.

The visit concluded with coordination to arrange an upcoming visit by a delegation of investors and representatives of the Egyptian tourism sector to Jordan to discuss investment opportunities and joint tourism projects, in a way that enhances economic and tourism cooperation between the two countries.
