The Diwan of the Al-Awamleh clans issued a strongly worded national statement on behalf of the clan's members, in which they affirmed their firm tribal and national position, absolute loyalty to the victorious Hashemite throne, and their steadfast stance, like a solid structure, behind His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein and the armed forces and security services in confronting the forces of darkness and rooting out terrorism.
The clan valued the contents of the sublime and firm royal messages directed by His Majesty the Supreme Commander, considering them an approach and a pillar from which there is no retreat, as His Majesty affirmed: "We will confront the terrorist act that targeted Karak with the harshest penalties. Whoever imagined that the bullets of treachery would split the ranks of Jordanians, their efforts have failed before our firmness and unity. All Jordanians from the north of the country to its south are partners in the land and the position, and treachery will not penetrate between them... The blood of a Jordanian is precious, and we will strike with an iron fist anyone who dares to attack this country."
The statement condemned in the strongest terms of denunciation the sinful terrorist attack that affected the village of Hammoud in the proud Karak Governorate, confirming that the Jordanian internal front is a fortress upon whose walls all despicable schemes have been and will be shattered, and that attempts to destabilize the nation's tranquility will only increase the sons of Jordanian clans in cohesion, strength, and firmness in protecting every inch of Jordan's pure soil.
The Diwan of the Al-Awamleh clans emphasized that the clan, as is its custom throughout the history of the Kingdom, places all its capabilities and sons in the trench of the nation and as absolute support for the state's military and security institutions.
Calling for the imposition of the maximum penalties and striking with an iron fist and without leniency at anyone who dares to tamper with national security or undermine the stability of the Kingdom.
The clan's statement concluded by praying to the Almighty to accept the martyrs with His vast mercy, to grant a speedy recovery to the injured, and to keep Jordan dear, impregnable, and formidable under the shadow of the Hashemite banner led by His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein and his faithful Crown Prince.
