The field health teams affiliated with the Directorate of Health Affairs in Tafila Governorate, represented by the Prevention and Disease Control Department, intensified their regular and supervisory inspection tours of the governorate's schools, within the framework of the Ministry of Health's plan to enhance preventive health care and to establish the concept of a safe and healthy school environment.
These field tours aim to verify and inspect the accredited vaccination cards of students at all educational stages, in addition to monitoring school health records to ensure the completion of all scheduled doses according to the national vaccination program.
The teams are also conducting a census of the number of students who have not completed routine vaccinations to give them the necessary booster and catch-up doses, thereby ensuring the raising of community immunity levels and reducing the spread of communicable diseases among school classes.
The school administrations in the governorate emphasized the importance of this continuous field follow-up and the comprehensive coordination between the health and education sectors, noting that the accurate documentation of health examinations and records is a fundamental pillar for protecting students and providing a sound educational environment conducive to academic stability.
