The Director of Education for the Southern Mazar District, Dr. Ali Al-Faqra, accompanied by the Director of Educational Affairs, Muhammad Al-Saraireh, conducted field tours to several schools in the directorate, including Mutah Secondary Comprehensive School for Boys, Maryam Bint Imran Basic Mixed School, and Al-Harith Bin Amr Basic School for Boys, as part of the ongoing field follow-up approach and the keenness to improve the level of the educational and pedagogical process.
During the tours, Al-Faqra reviewed the educational process inside the classrooms, followed up on the students' situation and their regularity in school attendance, listened to their needs and observations, and checked the commitment of the teaching and administrative bodies to the official schedule. He also reviewed the administrative and supervisory records and the mechanisms of work followed, to ensure the regularity of administrative and technical procedures in accordance with the instructions and systems in place.
Al-Faqra confirmed that the visits and field tours to schools represent a fundamental pillar in following up the educational and pedagogical reality, as they provide an opportunity to directly view the needs of schools, to identify the challenges facing the educational field, and to follow up on the level of compliance with the instructions and procedures governing the educational process.
He pointed out that the directorate attaches great importance to field follow-up, considering it an effective tool for evaluating performance, enhancing strengths, and identifying improvement opportunities, which positively reflects on the school environment and the level of academic achievement among students.
Al-Faqra emphasized the importance of integrating efforts between school administrations, teaching and administrative bodies, and working as one team to ensure the provision of a safe and motivating educational environment, enhance school discipline, and develop educational practices, which contributes to improving the quality of education and its outcomes, and achieving the desired educational goals.
It should be noted that these tours come within the efforts of the Education Directorate for the Southern Mazar District aimed at enhancing direct communication with schools, following up on their needs in the field, and ensuring the smooth running of the educational process in accordance with the approved plans and programs.
