The administrative board of the Tafila Governorate Teachers' Club, chaired by Dr. Salem Al-Rafou, announced today during its second periodic meeting the launch of an integrated package of sports events and humanitarian initiatives, as part of the club's ongoing efforts to activate activities and strengthen bonds of communication and solidarity among members of the educational family and the local community in the governorate.
Al-Rafou indicated that the approved sports plan for the coming weeks includes organizing a five-a-side football tournament for men, in addition to holding a chess tournament for women, with the aim of stimulating sports activity and providing spaces for honorable, brotherly competition among male and female teachers.
He added that the club approved the launch of an initiative titled "A Bouquet of Flowers," which aims to visit educational icons who have left a mark in the field of the Ministry of Education through their sincere efforts over the decades, especially those who are bedridden or going through difficult health conditions, to check on them and offer a duty of loyalty and gratitude for their extended contributions.
He emphasized that the "A Bouquet of Flowers" initiative will cover various regions and districts of the governorate, with its first field launch starting from the Al-Hasa district, reiterating the club's keenness to continue performing its educational and social mission in serving teachers and appreciating their exceptional contributions.
