Following the signing, Al-Ahmad stated that the cultural cooperation memorandum with Yemen comes within the framework of developing brotherly and historical relations between the two countries, and the mutual keenness to enhance cultural cooperation and expand the horizons of knowledge and creative exchange, noting an agreement signed between them since 2000.

He added that the memorandum constitutes a framework for cooperation in the fields of arts, literature, publishing, translation, and the preservation of intangible cultural heritage, in addition to supporting cultural and creative industries and exchanging expertise in the fields of digital transformation and the digitization of cultural content.

He emphasized the importance of transforming the memorandum's provisions into joint programs and projects that contribute to enhancing communication between cultural institutions and creators in both countries, and exchanging experiences and expertise in a way that serves Arab culture, preserves the civilizational heritage, and enhances its presence for future generations.

He recalled the most prominent aspects of cooperation and Yemeni participation in the various cultural and heritage events and programs held in the Kingdom.

For his part, Faqira affirmed that the cultural cooperation memorandum with Jordan embodies the depth of the brotherly and historical relations between the two brotherly countries and reflects their keenness to develop joint cooperation in all fields.

He pointed out that cooperation in the fields of digitization and creative industries represents an opportunity to benefit from modern technical developments in preserving heritage and disseminating cultural content, stressing the importance of continuing coordination and joint work to enhance bilateral relations and open new horizons for creators and cultural institutions in Jordan and Yemen.

The memorandum includes cooperation in the fields of intangible cultural heritage and its preservation and documentation, performing and visual arts, literature, publishing and translation, national libraries and cultural centers, as well as cultural and creative industries, traditional crafts, and cultural media.

It also includes exchanging expertise in digitizing archives and manuscripts, developing joint digital platforms for cultural content, and utilizing virtual and augmented reality technologies and artificial intelligence in preserving, publishing, and managing cultural data.

It stipulates the implementation of joint programs that include the exchange of cultural and artistic delegations and experts, organizing mutual cultural weeks, holding festivals, exhibitions, forums, and workshops, and implementing training programs for capacity building in the field of cultural management, as well as exchanging publications, printed materials, and audiovisual materials.
