The Russian Ministry of Finance announced that foreign trade has risen to approximately $102 billion since the beginning of the current year, an increase of 16.4 percent year-on-year, alongside growth in the value of trade exchanges.

In a statement on Tuesday, the ministry said that the rise in exports contributed to strengthening the trade surplus, despite the continued growth of imports, noting that the Russian commodity trade performance index will record a continuous rise due to the shift in export destinations and the expansion of dealings with Asian markets.
