Israeli airstrikes on the villages of southern Lebanon renewed after warplanes targeted the towns of Al-Mansouri in the Tyre district and Beit Yahoun in the Bint Jbeil district.
An Israeli force advanced toward the Nabeh Ibl al-Saqi locality, coinciding with a drone dropping sound bombs in the area between the towns of Ibl al-Saqi and Khiam, according to a Lebanese security source.
The source told the correspondent of the Jordan News Agency (Petra) in Beirut that "the Israeli army carried out a large explosion in the towns of Kfar Tebnit and Zawtar al-Sharqiyah, causing tremors in houses in the Nabatieh region."
He added that "artillery shelling also targeted the Jarmq area and the outskirts of the town of Kfar Chouba, coinciding with an Israeli incursion toward the southern outskirts of the Lebanese town of Kfar Chouba, adjacent to the occupied Lebanese Shebaa Farms."
The source pointed out that this Israeli escalation toward the liberated town of Kfar Chouba comes ahead of the town's residents heading to their fields in the Azrail and Bastra areas on Sunday to harvest the olive season, after obtaining permission from the ceasefire monitoring committee, the "Mechanism."
He stated that an Israeli patrol arrived at an olive press on the main road of Burj al-Muluk in the Marjayoun district, checked the IDs of those present, and warned them against moving around after five o'clock in the afternoon.
