The weather today, Wednesday, will be pleasant in most regions, and moderate in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with clouds appearing at various altitudes. During the afternoon hours, there is a possibility of light, short-lived rain showers in limited parts of the northeastern Badia, which may be accompanied by thunder at times. Winds will be northeasterly, moderate in speed, picking up at intervals and potentially causing dust, especially in the Badia regions.
In its report, the Jordan Meteorological Department warns of the possibility of reduced horizontal visibility due to dust, especially in the Badia regions, and of slippery roads in areas experiencing rainfall in parts of the northeastern Badia.
According to the report, temperatures will rise slightly tomorrow, Thursday. The weather will be pleasant in the high mountain ranges and moderately autumnal in the rest of the regions, with some clouds appearing at low altitudes. Winds will be easterly, moderate in speed, occasionally picking up and causing dust, especially in the Badia regions.
The weather on Friday and Saturday will be moderately autumnal in most regions, and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with some clouds appearing at medium and high altitudes. Winds will be southeasterly, moderate in speed.
Maximum and minimum temperatures in East Amman today will range between 26 - 15 degrees Celsius, in West Amman 23 - 14, in the northern highlands 22 - 12, in the Shara mountains 21 - 11, in the Badia regions 28 - 17, in the plains regions 25 - 14, in the northern Jordan Valley 33 - 18, in the southern Jordan Valley 33 - 25, in the Dead Sea 32 - 23, and in the Gulf of Aqaba 30 - 20 degrees Celsius.
