Petra Tourist Guides: We Take Pride in the Role Played by the Leadership in Protecting the Interests of the Kingdom

They emphasized their standing alongside the Jordanian Armed Forces "Arab Army" and security agencies, and their appreciation for the role played by them in protecting the homeland, its borders, and the security of its citizens.

They stressed during the statement, that the sovereignty, security, and stability of Jordan are steadfast national constants, and that the lands, capabilities, and national institutions of the Kingdom are protected, and it is not permissible to be a scene for settling accounts or external interventions.

They renewed their pride in the steadfast Jordanian positions towards the Palestinian cause and Al-Quds, and in the historical role of the Hashemites in caring for the Islamic and Christian holy sites in Jerusalem.

They said during the statement: We affirm as tourist guides in Petra, that our national and professional duty requires us to remain ambassadors of our homeland, to present to the world the civilizational, historical, and humanitarian image of Jordan, and to contribute to enhancing the status of the Kingdom as a safe, stable, and welcoming tourist destination for its guests.

They concluded their statement: That Jordan comes first, and that its security, stability, and sovereignty are a comprehensive national responsibility, and that we will remain loyal to our homeland and its leadership, proud of its heritage and history, keen to serve its visitors and convey the bright image of Jordan and Petra to the world.
