The Northern Military Zone, on Friday, thwarted an infiltration attempt by 4 individuals through one of the border interfaces, after they were detected by border guard forces while attempting to cross the border in an illegal manner.
The Jordanian Armed Forces stated that the border guard forces dealt with the infiltrators in accordance with the applicable rules of engagement, and managed to arrest them without allowing them to cross the border, before transferring them to the competent authorities to complete the legal procedures.
