Armed Forces: Thwarting the Infiltration Attempt of 3 Individuals via a Border Interface

The Southern Military Region, at dawn on Saturday, thwarted an infiltration attempt by three individuals via one of the border interfaces, after border guard forces managed to detect them while they were attempting to cross the border in an illegal manner.
The border guard forces dealt with the infiltrators according to the applicable rules of engagement, managed to arrest them, and handed them over to the competent authorities to take the necessary legal measures against them.
The Jordanian Armed Forces affirm that the border guard forces continue to perform their duty with vigilance and firmness, within the framework of their responsibility to protect the Kingdom's borders and preserve its sovereignty, and to counter any infiltration attempts or illegal activities that may affect the security and stability of the homeland.
