Nomination for the Hussein Award for Voluntary Work Continues Until the End of November

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Youth, Amani Al-Majali, said on Monday that the nomination for the fourth cycle of the Hussein bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Work, which began on September 21, continues until the end of November, noting that the website allows applicants to save the application as a draft and complete it later.

Al-Majali explained in a press statement that the application requires documents proving the voluntary work and the place of its implementation, along with photos, videos, numbers, and statistics that clarify its impact, pointing out that the most prominent mistakes are not uploading the documents in the required format, or being satisfied with a general description of the work without supporting evidence, or leaving incomplete data.

She called on applicants to complete their applications and take advantage of the award unit, its ambassadors, and assistance centers to answer their inquiries before the end of the nomination period.

She emphasized that the role of the award does not end at the award ceremony, explaining that the Ministry of Youth, in partnership with the Crown Prince Foundation and partners, is developing a plan for after winning that includes meetings with the winners and benefiting from their observations to develop the mechanisms and tools of the award.

She pointed to granting the winners opportunities for direct localization within a program concerned with localizing youth initiatives, along with facilities to benefit from the youth and sports facilities of the ministry, while the award management committee follows their work and the sustainability of their initiatives through periodic reports.

She pointed to working on highlighting the experiences of the winners and networking them with institutions that can provide them with support, and enhancing their media presence.

The winners receive 12 awards, three in each category, while all participants are awarded certificates of participation in appreciation of their efforts in voluntary work.

The Minister of Youth, Raed Al-Adwan, announced the launch of the fourth cycle of the award and the opening of the nomination, noting that the award, launched by His Highness the Crown Prince in 2021 in partnership with the Crown Prince Foundation and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), aims to encourage voluntary work, consolidate its culture, activate social responsibility, and honor voluntary work with a positive impact.
