Municipalities of Ma'an Governorate organize solidarity vigils coinciding with the funeral of the Karak incident martyrs

Municipalities of Ma'an Governorate organized, coinciding with the funeral ceremonies of the Karak incident martyrs, solidarity vigils to express feelings of sadness and sorrow, and in solidarity with the families of the deceased in this painful tragedy.

These vigils were held with the participation of heads and members of municipal committees, employees, and citizens, in affirmation of the feelings of solidarity and sympathy with the victims' families, and standing by them in these difficult circumstances.

The vigils emphasized the depth of the brotherly bonds that unite the Jordanian people, and the values of fraternity, solidarity, and cohesion among the nation's citizens, especially in times of adversity and tragedy, reflecting the unity of feelings and sincere solidarity with the families of the deceased.

The head of the Ma'an Municipal Committee, Assem Al-Nahar, considered that the attack, which violated the sanctity of places of worship and targeted the security of the safe, is a crime rejected by all religious, moral, and humanitarian standards, expressing his great confidence in the security services to bring these perpetrators to justice to receive their fair punishment, so that Jordan remains as it has always been, a symbol of security and stability.

The Mayor of Al-Husseinieh, Engineer Abdul-Mun'im Abu Hilala, stressed that targeting places of worship affects shared religious and humanitarian values, and that the unity and cohesion of Jordanians represent the nation's safety valve and its impregnable fence, confirming that Jordan, with its wise Hashemite leadership and the awareness of its people, continues to consolidate the approach of fraternity and coexistence, and to preserve its security and stability.

The head of the New Ail Municipal Committee, Ibrahim Kreishan, emphasized the importance of standing by the security services and the competent authorities in their efforts to protect citizens and maintain security and stability, expressing his confidence in their ability to take the necessary measures and hold accountable everyone proven to be involved in this attack, in accordance with the provisions of the law.

Kreishan said that what happened in the Hamoud town church incident is a sinful attack rejected by all human and moral values, and is inconsistent with the security of our society and the safety of its people.

The head of the Shobak Municipal Committee, Engineer Mohammed Harb Al-Naimat, explained that this cowardly terrorist act will only increase Jordanians' adherence to preserving their national unity and the security of Jordan, and their rallying around the victorious Hashemite banner, noting that the hand of justice will reach everyone who attempts to harm and infringe upon the security of Jordan, which will remain, through the efforts of its loyal sons, an impregnable, safe, and stable fortress.

The head of the Al-Jafr Municipal Committee, Dr. Wasif Al-Akayleh, stated that Jordan will remain a model of fraternity, tolerance, and coexistence among its people, and that our national unity and cohesive social fabric constitute the safety valve in the face of strife and everything that would undermine the security and stability of the nation.

Dr. Al-Akayleh stressed the importance of strengthening the values of citizenship and belonging, and consolidating a culture of mutual respect among all components of Jordanian society, confirming that Jordanians, Muslims and Christians alike, are one family united by the homeland and bound by love and loyalty to Jordan and its Hashemite leadership.

Dr. Jamil Al-Shuqairat stated that the tragedy of Hamoud town will remain a national and historical trust that reminds us of the magnitude of the responsibility placed on everyone's shoulders, and confirms that the bonds of brotherhood and love are the motto of Jordanians regardless of their religion and beliefs, and that the dignity of the nation is preserved by the sacrifices of its sons and cannot be confiscated by the forces of violence and terrorism.

Citizen Salem Al-Maraiya pointed out that this incident will not undermine the security of Jordan nor the Jordanians' confidence in their homeland, and will increase our adherence to our values, national constants, and loyalty to our Hashemite leadership, and Jordan will remain a homeland for religious coexistence and a title for security, safety, reassurance, and stability.

These vigils embodied a collective national stance that places the sanctity of blood, the holiness of places of worship, and the unity of society at the forefront of Jordanian constants, and expresses the cohesion of the nation's sons in the face of extremist ideology, and adherence to Jordan as a homeland for security, stability, and fraternity.

The municipalities expressed their sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the deceased, asking the Almighty God to cover them with His vast mercy and forgiveness, to inspire their families and relatives with patience and solace, and to protect Jordan and its people from all harm.
