In its report, the Jordan Meteorological Department warns of the possibility of reduced horizontal visibility in the early morning hours due to fog over high northern mountain peaks, reduced horizontal visibility due to dust, especially in the Badia regions, and slippery roads in areas experiencing rainfall.
According to the report, tomorrow, Monday, the weather will remain moderate in most regions, and relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with clouds appearing at various altitudes. There is a chance of scattered rain showers in the evening hours, especially in the south of the Kingdom, for a short period, which may occasionally be accompanied by thunder. Winds will be moderate southeasterly, occasionally active and stirring up dust, especially in the Badia regions.
The Kingdom will be affected by a state of atmospheric instability on Tuesday, with a slight drop in temperatures. Clouds will appear at various altitudes, and rain showers—God willing—will fall in scattered parts of the Kingdom, including the city of Aqaba, accompanied by lightning, thunder, and occasional hail. During the evening and night hours, rain is expected to be heavy at times, especially in the south and east of the Kingdom, leading to the formation of flash floods in valleys and low-lying areas. Winds will be moderate southeasterly to southwesterly, active at intervals and stirring up dust, leading to reduced horizontal visibility, especially in the Badia regions.
On Wednesday, the weather will be pleasant in the mountain heights and plains, and moderate in the rest of the regions, with clouds appearing at various altitudes. There is a chance of scattered rain showers, especially in the east of the Kingdom, which may occasionally be accompanied by thunder. Winds will be moderate westerly, active at intervals.
Maximum and minimum temperatures in East Amman today will range between 30-17°C, in West Amman 28-15°C, in the northern highlands 25-16°C, in the Sharah mountains 25-14°C, in the Badia regions 31-18°C, in the plains 29-17°C, in the northern Jordan Valley 35-24°C, in the southern Jordan Valley 36-26°C, in the Dead Sea 33-25°C, and in the Gulf of Aqaba 34-22°C.
