The Ministry of Investment has concluded a specialized promotional tour in India to explore opportunities for attracting investments in the textile and apparel sector, covering the capital New Delhi and the cities of Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
The tour included meetings and sessions held by the Jordanian delegation, led by the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Investment, Zaher Al-Qatarneh, with more than 20 Indian companies. It also featured field visits to several companies and factories, as well as meetings with relevant sector bodies and institutions to promote investment opportunities, advantages, and incentives offered by the Kingdom to investors, in addition to identifying the technical and operational requirements that companies rely on when evaluating potential countries for their investments, including Jordan.
The meetings and field visits focused on export-oriented manufacturing activities, primary textile industries, and activities related to value chains, contributing to the identification of investment opportunities that align with the companies' needs and expansion trends.
The tour is part of the Ministry's efforts to enhance direct communication with specialized global companies, attract high-quality investments that expand the industrial base in the Kingdom, and strengthen Jordan's position as a competitive platform for manufacturing and exporting to global markets.
