A Palestinian was martyred and others were injured, including a child, on Wednesday evening, in Israeli bombing on Salah al-Din Street in the town of Al-Qarara north of Khan Younis city, south of the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian News Agency "WAFA" reported that the bombing targeted Palestinians on Salah al-Din Street in the town, resulting in the martyrdom of Palestinian Bilal al-Samir (33 years old) and the injury of others, including a child.
Medical sources had reported the martyrdom of 6 Palestinians and the injury of 15 others on Wednesday, in Israeli bombing that targeted a vehicle in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood of Gaza City.
Al-Shifa Medical Complex reported the arrival of 6 martyrs and a number of injured people due to the Israeli bombing that targeted the vehicle in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood.
This brings the number of martyrs in the Strip since the ceasefire came into effect on October 11, 2023, to more than 1430 Palestinians.
Israeli attacks on the besieged Strip have escalated in recent weeks, as Israel claims that Hamas is rearming itself and launching attacks in violation of the ceasefire reached in October last year.
Hamas denies launching attacks or rebuilding its arsenal, and accuses Israel of undermining the ceasefire agreement.
The agreement, reached through American mediation, provides for the eventual reconstruction of the Gaza Strip, but negotiations have stalled over the terms of Hamas' disarmament and the withdrawal of Israeli forces, while Israeli raids on the Strip have continued.
According to the Palestinian authorities, more than 74,000 Palestinians have been martyred as a result of the Israeli war on Gaza, which broke out in October 2023.
