"Journalists" Syndicate appreciates the efforts of security services in uncovering the circumstances of the Karak terrorist crime

The Council of the Jordan Press Association appreciated the great efforts exerted by our security services and their high professionalism in uncovering the circumstances of the Karak terrorist crime and arresting its perpetrators, which reflects the efficiency and vigilance of the security services in dealing with issues that affect the security and stability of the nation.
In a statement today, Monday, the Council praised the wisdom of His Majesty King Abdullah II and his wise leadership in consolidating Jordan's security and stability, affirming that His Majesty's directives constitute a firm approach in protecting the homeland, safeguarding its resources, strengthening the rule of law, and standing firmly against everything that threatens the security and safety of citizens.
It also valued the national role played by His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II in supporting the state's path and strengthening social cohesion, affirming that His Highness's presence and follow-up on national issues embody the Hashemite leadership's keenness on Jordan's security, stability, and the future of its people.
The Council appreciated the government and its Prime Minister's handling of the criminal incident from the moment it occurred, the keenness to arrest the criminals, support the families of the martyrs and stand by them, and consider the crime as one that affects all Jordanians, in addition to the media handling and provision of information as required by the nature of the painful incident and the necessities of the investigative procedures for the crime.
The Council renewed its pride in the Jordanian people, who rejected and condemned the crime, expressed their denunciation of it, thwarted the opportunity for anyone who wanted sedition in this homeland, and stood as one rank behind His Majesty the King and the security services that arrested the criminals.
The Council affirmed its pride in the national role played by the security services in their various formations in protecting Jordan, safeguarding its security, and maintaining the safety of citizens, stressing that Jordan's security and stability is a shared national responsibility, and that standing as one rank in the face of everything that targets the homeland and its people represents a national duty that does not accept complacency.
The Council praised the media handling of this terrorist crime and the efforts made by colleagues in various press and media institutions in covering the dimensions of the crime, which indicates their professionalism and competence.
The Council called for accuracy and responsibility, relying on official sources, and not being led by rumors or publishing unconfirmed information, in affirmation of the role of professional media in protecting society and strengthening confidence in national institutions.
The Council renewed its confidence in our security services and their ability to continue performing their national duty with efficiency and competence, affirming the standing of the journalistic family alongside the Hashemite leadership, represented by His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, and alongside the national efforts aimed at maintaining Jordan's security, stability, and the unity of its people.
