We do not dwell only on the number of martyrs who ascended to heaven, nor on the wounded to whom we pray for recovery, as they have all left a deep wound in the souls of Jordanians. For the killing of a single soul is an assault on the boundaries of God, as the Almighty said: "Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And any one who saved a life, it is as if he had saved mankind entirely." God Almighty has spoken the truth.
In this grave event, the Jordanian Muslim rushed to health centers, offering blood to his injured Christian brother—blood that is present and has not changed its course; rather, both sides have exchanged it whenever one needed the other, in times of peace, war, and every incident that threatens human life.
As for the "other blindness" that usually leads these murderers to their heinous acts, it is their belief that they will escape the hands of justice, as if they have not learned from the precedents of those who did the same. Their fate is to be captured, as if they had surrendered themselves after finishing their crime, which the whole world has condemned, except for the entity whose ideology they carry, which has deceived them and led them down paths of misguidance.
As for their desperate, miserable attempts to terrorize Jordanians and destabilize their national security, they are doomed to failure. Jordanians have confirmed in all the events they have endured that anyone who dreams of this homeland being an open arena must interpret their dreams outside the borders of their country. The dangers and challenges faced by the Jordanian people have only increased their strength, cohesion, and adherence to the rope of God.
May God protect Jordan, and may the schemes of the extremists be turned back upon them so they may die as carrion, and to Hell, a wretched destination.
