The Jordan Tourism Board (JTB) has strengthened its presence in the Chinese market by opening a representative office in China, as part of its efforts to expand the promotion of Jordan, attract more Chinese tourists, and enhance partnerships with travel and tourism companies and tour operators in the Chinese market.

The Board signed an agreement with the company "Travel Link" to officially represent the Board in the Chinese market, work to support and promote Jordan as a tourist destination, and enhance communication with entities and companies operating in the Chinese tourism sector. The signing ceremony also featured a specialized presentation on the Chinese market, covering tourism demand trends, the proposed strategy and action plan, and the opportunities available to increase the number of Chinese tourists to Jordan.

The Board emphasized that the opening of the representative office represents an important step to enhance the Jordanian presence in the Chinese market, develop marketing and promotion tools, and build sustainable partnerships with the Chinese tourism sector, which contributes to introducing Jordanian tourism components and products, increasing the number of Chinese visitors, and enhancing Jordan's competitiveness as a global tourist destination.
