Jordan Condemns Houthi Targeting of Saudi Cities

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, on Tuesday, condemned the targeting of civilians and civilian objects in the cities of Khamis Mushait, Abha, and Ta'if in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by Houthi militia with ballistic missiles and drones.

The Ministry affirmed that these attacks represent a violation of Saudi sovereignty, a threat to its security and stability, and a breach of international law and the United Nations Charter.

The official spokesperson for the Ministry, Ambassador Fuad Al-Muallem, stated that Jordan reaffirms its absolute solidarity with Saudi Arabia and its support for all measures it takes to protect its security, stability, capabilities, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
