Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission refers two Irbid Municipality employees to court

The public prosecutor of the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission has referred two employees of the Greater Irbid Municipality to court after completing investigations with them regarding cases involving charges of forgery, preparing false certificates, and concealing documents, according to official documents obtained by "Alrai".

According to the documents, the investigations involved the employees against the backdrop of complaints and cases related to the charges brought against them.

The head of the Greater Irbid Municipality committee, Imad Al-Azzam, said that the municipality had previously referred two of its employees to the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission, noting that the municipality does not tolerate this aspect at all and constantly works to refer any violations to the competent authorities, such as the Commission and the judiciary, which is considered the arbiter and ruler in these cases, confirming the municipality's follow-up on the referral procedures pending the issuance of the final judicial decision.

The referral of the employees to the court comes within the framework of the legal measures taken regarding the cases under consideration, provided that the charges brought against them remain subject to what the competent court will decide in accordance with legal procedures.
