The issuance of the guide comes in light of the growing importance of technological exhibitions in enabling companies to reach new markets, communicate with potential clients, investors, and partners, showcase innovations, build business relationships, and increase sales and exports, thereby contributing to the growth of the national economy and creating new job opportunities.
The guide, which comprises 32 pages, addresses ten topics starting with the introduction, vision, and strategic importance of technological exhibitions, followed by a map of the most prominent local, regional, and global exhibitions, before providing a practical pathway covering preparation and preparation before the exhibition, execution and interaction during it, follow-up and evaluation after its conclusion, training the work team, benefiting from trade delegations and forums, avoiding common mistakes, up to practical models and checklists.
The guide also highlights a number of exhibitions relevant to Jordanian companies, foremost of which is the "The REACH" forum, the new identity of the Middle East and North Africa Information and Communication Technology Forum, scheduled to be held at the Aqaba International Exhibition and Conference Center in April 2027, alongside "LEAP", "GITEX Global", "COMEX", and "Web Summit Qatar" exhibitions, and global and specialized exhibitions in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and financial technology.
In the pre-exhibition phase, the guide focuses on selecting the appropriate event based on the target markets, nature of products and services, company budget, and growth stage, setting clear and measurable objectives, studying the market and competitors, identifying target groups, preparing the budget, booth, and marketing materials, and training the team on the product, market, communication, sales, body language, and practical demonstrations.
During the exhibition, the guide directs companies to adopt a proactive presence, provide concise and clear introductory presentations, organize meetings and live demonstrations, collect potential client data and document their interests, visit target company booths, and benefit from sessions, conferences, and social media, while evaluating performance daily and distributing roles among team members.
After the exhibition, the guide emphasizes the importance of promptly contacting potential clients and categorizing them by priority, customizing follow-up messages based on identified conversations and needs, updating the client database, analyzing results and costs, measuring return on investment, tracking deals resulting from participation, and using lessons learned to improve future participations.
The guide includes practical tools such as checklists for the three stages, a potential client data collection card, a post-exhibition report template, a table for comparing objectives with results and cost analysis, a follow-up message template, and a daily work schedule for the team, helping companies transform recommendations into actionable and measurable procedures.
The CEO of the "I'nT Productions" Association, Engineer Nidal Al-Baytar, said that the guide is based on the experience of 'I'nT Productions' in organizing Jordanian national pavilions and trade delegations in several regional and global markets, and comes within its role in empowering sector companies to innovate, expand, and compete, and enhance cooperation bridges between the private sector, decision-makers, and academic institutions.
Al-Baytar added that successful participation in exhibitions does not begin at their opening and does not end with their closure, as it requires early preparation, professional execution, and meticulous follow-up, affirming that the guide provides companies with a practical methodology to maximize the return on their participations, solidify the presence of the Jordanian technology sector, and enhance Jordan's status as a competitive regional hub in technology and the digital economy.
