Hassan directs the expansion of the Tourism and Hospitality Academy's programs and the rehabilitation of its facilities

Prime Minister Dr. Jafar Hassan visited the Jordan Tourism and Hospitality Academy in the Marka District and directed support for it to expand its programs, rehabilitate its workshops and halls, equip them with a public safety system, establish a new multi-purpose hall, modernize a computer lab, and maintain some facilities. Additionally, he directed providing the academy with the necessary devices and equipment to develop training services and attract more young men and women beneficiaries, to enable them to acquire the skills and professions necessary to enter the labor market.

The academy was established in 1986 and includes 13 workshops and classrooms for implementing training programs. It currently has 393 male and female trainees, operates on a two-shift system (morning and evening), and offers 7 training programs in the fields of food and beverage production and service, the German language, and other vocational programs required in the labor market.

The employment rate among the academy's graduates is approximately 65 percent, and it graduated 440 male and female trainees last year.
