The media spokesperson for the Public Security Directorate stated that specialized firefighting teams from the Civil Defense Directorate, supported by the police and Gendarmerie forces, dealt with a fire that broke out inside a 1,000-square-meter hangar containing wood and raw materials for furniture manufacturing in Zarqa Governorate.
The media spokesperson indicated that the fire produced thick smoke due to the nature of the burning materials. Firefighting teams worked to extinguish and control the fire, preventing it from spreading to adjacent areas. The fire also resulted in one person sustaining a laceration to the right foot. Ambulance crews provided the necessary first aid and transported the individual to Prince Faisal Governmental Hospital for treatment. An investigation into the causes of the fire has been opened.
