Graduation of the Second Batch of Conscripts in Shuayer Center

The Chief of the Joint Staff, Major General Majdi Muhammad Al-Harasis, on Tuesday, sponsored the graduation ceremony of the second batch of conscripts in the Shuayer Conscription Center, in the presence of a number of senior officers of the Jordanian Armed Forces - the Arab Army, and the graduates' families.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, and the attendees commemorated the conscripts who died in the traffic accident that the bus carrying them was exposed to while returning to their residences, praying to Allah to grant them His mercy, place them in His vast paradise, and grant their families, relatives, and colleagues patience and solace, and to grant the injured a speedy recovery.

The Director of the Mobilization and Popular Army Directorate confirmed that the graduation of the second batch of conscripts comes as a culmination of a comprehensive training phase, during which the conscripts received programs that included military training, awareness, and life skills, which contributed to enhancing their capabilities, refining their personalities, and developing a spirit of discipline, teamwork, and responsibility.

The ceremony included a parade of conscripts in front of the podium in a normal march, alongside demonstrations of hand-to-hand combat and silent marching, and military applications and activities that reflected the training level reached by the conscripts during their service period.

The conscription program comes within a national approach targeting Jordanian youth, under the royal directives and attention and care of His Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince, with the aim of qualifying young people and developing their skills and abilities, enhancing the values of belonging and loyalty to the homeland and its Hashemite leadership, and consolidating the principles of discipline, commitment, teamwork, and self-reliance.

At the end of the ceremony, Major General Al-Harasis distributed the prizes to the deserving, in appreciation of their excellence during the training period.
