Gold prices in the local market rose on Monday by 60 fils for 24 carats, and 50 fils for 21 and 18 carats, compared to the previous price list, according to the General Syndicate of Owners of Jewelry and Gold Trading and Goldsmith Shops.
According to the morning price list, the selling price of a gram of 21 carat gold, the most desired by citizens in the local market, was 84.6 dinars for sale from goldsmith shops, compared to 80.8 dinars for purchase.
