The Economic and Social Council condemns in the strongest terms the heinous terrorist operation that targeted the security and stability of Karak Governorate, and denounces this cowardly attack, which has no connection to our religious, human, and moral values.
The Council extends its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the families of the martyrs, and asks God to shower them with His vast mercy and grant the injured a speedy recovery.
The Council affirms that these criminal acts will not undermine the determination and unity of Jordanians, nor will they shake their confidence in their national institutions. It highly values the efforts exerted by the security and military apparatuses in maintaining security and confronting anyone who attempts to harm the nation's stability, and stands united behind the Hashemite leadership in facing terrorism and extremism in all its forms.
The Council emphasized that security and stability are fundamental pillars for economic and social development, and that protecting society from extremist ideology is a shared responsibility that requires the concerted efforts of all.
May God protect Jordan, its leadership and its people, and perpetuate upon it the blessing of security and safety.
