Amman Group for the Future Dialogues launches national activities to confront takfiri ideology and promote moderation

The founding president of the Amman Group for the Future Dialogues, Bilal Hassan Al-Tal, announced that the group will launch a series of activities and meetings across various regions of the Kingdom to promote a culture of moderation and tolerance, confront the ideology of intolerance and takfir, and consolidate the values of citizenship and belonging.
Al-Tal stated that the group is conducting a review and evaluation of its experience over the past years, with the aim of building on its positive results and developing its programs, based on the document "One Nation in the Face of the Strife of Takfir," which it prepared and printed in 2015. This document formed the basis for activities and meetings in which scholars, thinkers, and decision-makers participated, targeting various segments of society, with a focus on youth.
He emphasized that the next phase will focus on strengthening the internal front and consolidating confidence in state institutions through responsible dialogue and institutional national work, as well as objectively studying economic, social, and political challenges and proposing practical solutions for them.
He pointed out that strengthening the internal front requires the integration of official and societal efforts, and the involvement of national competencies in presenting initiatives that contribute to addressing challenges and enhancing the development process. He stressed the importance of addressing national issues with a spirit of responsibility and objectivity, away from exaggeration, and in a way that boosts national morale and confidence in state institutions.
Al-Tal stressed the importance of enhancing national awareness and social cohesion, and expanding societal participation in confronting extremist ideology, in a way that contributes to safeguarding national achievements, supporting Jordan's security and stability, and continuing the path of modernization and development.
