The Amman Group for Future Dialogues called on all Jordanians to rally around the contents of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein's speech at the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, to be the core of a solid Jordanian position for a unified Arab and Islamic stance around the contents of the royal speech, which was a clear and explicit expression of the conscience of the Arab and Islamic nations, along with all free people in the world in rejecting the disregard of the truth and siding with the injustice that befalls the Palestinian people, which affects their entire nation.
The group said in a statement issued today: The speech of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein at this year's meeting of the United Nations General Assembly came to represent a warning cry for the whole world to wake up from its confusion and regain its attention to the dangers that threaten its peace and stability, and the most important of these dangers is the loss of the rights of the Palestinian people and the continued occupation of their lands, and the occupation authorities' continued violations of all covenants, pledges, and international laws, encouraged by the double standards practiced by the international community when it turns a blind eye to the practices of the Israeli occupation, while it hastens to implement international resolutions if they relate to anything other than Israel.
The group said in its statement that His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein's statement of the constants of the Jordanian position on the issue of Palestine, and Jordan's insistence on defending its sovereignty, borders, waters, and all its rights, should be a source of pride for every Jordanian, and this pride should be translated into a firm national cohesion that does not waver around their homeland and leadership.
The group added in its statement: The speech of His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein expressed the position of the entire nation, charged with anger, embodying its insistence on restoring its rights, confirming its determination to confront all the dangers it faces and to triumph over these dangers.
The Amman Group for Future Dialogues concluded its statement by affirming the call for all Jordanians and with them the children of their entire nation to adhere to what His Majesty King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein said at the meeting of the General Assembly of the United Nations and to consider the contents of the royal speech as a roadmap for punishing the occupier and for the Palestinian people to regain their stolen rights. And to protect our region from the dangers that threaten it
