The All of Us Jordan Youth Commission in Tafilah Governorate organized, today, in cooperation with local partners, a series of educational and introductory sessions to introduce the fourth cycle of the Al Hussein Bin Abdullah II Award for Voluntary Effort, with the participation of a number of young people and community initiative owners in the governorate.
The coordinator of the All of Us Jordan Youth Commission in Tafilah, Amjad Al-Karimeen, emphasized that organizing these sessions comes within the work team's plans in the governorate to consolidate the culture of volunteering among youth, encourage them to document their experiences and community initiatives, and highlight their positive impact in cooperation with various institutions and local partners.
He added that the sessions, presented by award ambassadors Abdulmohsen Al-Rawajfeh and Aya Al-Hawamdeh, witnessed a comprehensive review of the award's vision and developmental goals, in addition to clarifying its various themes, categories, and conditions for nomination and participation. They also included a scientific and practical explanation of the registration and application mechanism, and the documentation of voluntary initiatives via the national volunteering platform "Nahno," in addition to following up with participants and answering their inquiries regarding application procedures and requirements.
He pointed out that the session included extensive discussions on ways to enhance the participation of the governorate's youth in the award, and to overcome obstacles facing individual and institutional initiatives to facilitate registration steps, ensuring that voluntary projects are highlighted.
