Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs Abdul-Ma'moun Al-Oudat said that the visit of the Deputy King, His Highness Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, to the Council of Ministers on Wednesday, carried important messages related to the need to continue government work and respond to the needs of citizens, in light of regional challenges and their repercussions on Jordan.

Al-Oudat explained that the visit of His Highness the Crown Prince comes within the framework of continuous concern and follow-up of the government's performance and its priorities, pointing out that one of the main axes of this follow-up is that government work should be close to the needs of citizens, address their priorities, alleviate their burdens, and provide government services with the highest degree of efficiency, so that the citizen feels an improvement in the level of services provided to him.

He stressed that the directives emphasized the need to deal with regional challenges with the logic of "permanent readiness, not waiting", and to continue to follow up on economic, developmental and service priorities, which are fundamentally centered around the citizen.

Al-Oudat pointed to the importance of investing in the opportunities provided by royal visits and movements to brotherly and friendly countries, and turning the relations that link Jordan with these countries into economic and investment opportunities that reflect on the national economy and improve the living conditions of citizens.

Regarding technology and artificial intelligence, Al-Oudat said that His Highness the Crown Prince emphasized the importance of benefiting from successful experiences in this field, referring to the experience of the Digital Health Center and the Sind application, and the necessity of generalizing successful experiences and benefiting from artificial intelligence and data tools in a way that positively reflects on the performance of the government and the level of services provided to citizens, and contributes to speeding up procedures and facilitating their access to services.

He added that His Highness the Crown Prince also highlighted the tourism sector, in light of regional circumstances and their repercussions on the sector, emphasizing the importance of enhancing its resilience and competitiveness and preserving its influential role in the national economy, alongside accelerating the pace of work to alleviate the impact of regional challenges on the sector.

Regarding supply chains, Al-Oudat explained that His Highness the Crown Prince listened to a presentation on the government's readiness in this field, stressing the importance of dealing with regional circumstances with the logic of permanent readiness, ensuring the continuous arrival of basic needs to citizens, and thinking about alternatives and emergency plans in case of any emergency that affects current supply lines.

Al-Oudat affirmed that the overall directives focus on the continuation of government work, raising the level of readiness, improving the services provided to citizens, and dealing with regional challenges in a way that maintains the stability of the national economy and the continuity of meeting basic needs.
