Al-Hammouri elected President of the 'Mubadara' Party Central Council by acclamation

The Central Council of the 'Mubadara' Party has elected Dr. Fawzi Al-Hammouri as its president by acclamation. It also selected Dr. Raafat Al-Abdallat as First Vice President, Waad Al-Daham as Second Vice President, and Abdullah Al-Saudi as Rapporteur of the Council.

The Central Council elections saw party members Faisal Al-Mahameed and Mohammed Al-Zyoud withdraw their candidacy for the position of First Vice President, while Muhannad Al-Zawahreh and Marwa Al-Mahasneh withdrew from the race for the position of Second Vice President, which went to Waad Al-Daham by acclamation.

The selection of Al-Hammouri, who previously chaired the Central Council of the 'Taqaddam' party before the merger, comes as part of completing the formation of the 'Mubadara' party's leadership bodies following the merger of the 'Irada' and 'Taqaddam' parties, the unification of their organizational frameworks, and the approval of the party's bylaws and political document.

The party's Secretary-General, Dr. Mohammad Abu Hudaib, stated that the selection of Al-Hammouri represents "an important milestone in the path of the party's institutional building," noting that the next phase will focus on activating the party's institutions, enhancing programmatic work, and linking organizational efforts with political and field presence.

Abu Hudaib added that the party is working to develop its presence in the governorates, expand the participation of its members, and promote the involvement of youth and women, based on its responsibility to translate the vision of His Majesty King Abdullah II for modernizing the political system into effective partisan practice that contributes to consolidating programmatic political work and enhancing national participation.

He emphasized that the Central Council will play a fundamental role in monitoring the work of the party's institutions and discussing its directions, in a way that enhances collective action and contributes to developing programs and policies based on clear and applicable priorities. He pointed out that the party is focusing in the coming phase on transforming what has been achieved organizationally into continuous political and programmatic work, which strengthens its presence in the governorates and brings partisan work closer to its members and base.

For his part, member of the party's Political Bureau, Dr. Mutaz Jraisat, said that completing the formation of the leadership bodies is an important step in strengthening the party's institutional structure, moving toward a phase that focuses on developing political and programmatic work, expanding participation, and translating the party's goals into practical initiatives that respond to national priorities and enhance its presence in various governorates.
