Al-Dheinat: 135 million dinars in "Phosphates" contributions to corporate social responsibility over 6 years

Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Jordan Phosphate Mines Company, Dr. Mohammad Al-Dheinat, emphasized that corporate social responsibility represents a firmly established approach in the company's journey and an embodiment of its national and developmental role, pointing out that its total contributions in this field reached about 135 million dinars over the past six years, with Ma'an Governorate accounting for approximately 21 million dinars of that total.

This came in a speech delivered by Dr. Al-Dheinat at the launch ceremony of the mobile clinic project for early detection of breast cancer in the southern governorates, where he explained that the company's contributions included the health, education, municipalities, and infrastructure sectors, alongside the implementation of developmental and service initiatives and projects that respond to the needs of local communities.

He stated that the company's support for the mobile clinic project stems from its national responsibility and its keenness to contribute to developing the level of health services and facilitating citizens' access to early detection services, thereby enhancing prevention opportunities and reducing the health and social repercussions of the disease.

Dr. Al-Dheinat expressed the company's pride in the partnership it shares with the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center, praising their pioneering and humanitarian role in combating cancer and providing medical care and specialized services to patients.

He affirmed the readiness of the Jordan Phosphate Mines Company to continue supporting the King Hussein Cancer Center and enhancing the partnership with it, contributing to supporting its health and humanitarian programs and initiatives, and expanding the scope of early detection and healthcare services to include various regions of the Kingdom.

The support for the mobile clinic project comes as an extension of the company's approach to consolidating its social responsibility and maximizing its developmental impact in vital sectors, particularly health and education, by supporting initiatives and projects that contribute to upgrading services provided to citizens and improving their quality of life.
