Al-Amwasi to miss two weeks due to injury

Al-Wehdat Club announced that the football team's goalkeeper, Mohammad Al-Amwasi, will be absent from group training for two weeks after suffering a first-degree tear in his quadriceps during his team's match yesterday against Al-Hussein Irbid, as part of the fifth week of the Jordanian Professional League "CFI".

The team manager, Ayed Sadaqa, confirmed in a statement today, Sunday, that the medical examinations conducted on Al-Amwasi revealed his injury, noting that he will undergo treatment under the supervision of the medical staff for two weeks before returning to group training.

Sadaqa added that the Senegalese professional Sambo, who suffered a quadriceps tear during a friendly match before the resumption of the professional league competitions, has joined group training with the aim of increasing his physical readiness, and will be included in the team's squad for the next match against Shabab Al-Ordon next Saturday.

He pointed out that the Moroccan professional Fouzi Abdelmottaleb was included in the team's squad for its last match against Al-Hussein Irbid after recovering from an injury, explaining that the decision regarding his participation in the match rests with the technical staff.
