Al-al-Bayt University condemns the terrorist attack on a church in Karak

The President of Al-al-Bayt University, Dr. Osama Nuseir, and the university family of academics, administrators, and students, condemned the sinful attack on a church in the village of Hamoud in Karak Governorate, which resulted in casualties and injuries.

They affirmed that harming the lives of innocent people and the sanctity of places of worship is an unacceptable behavior that contradicts the values of religion and humanity, stressing that this attack will not undermine the unity of Jordanians and the cohesion of their national fabric.

The university president and its family expressed their deep sadness and sorrow over this painful incident, offering their sincere condolences and sympathy to the families and relatives of the victims, asking God Almighty to bestow His vast mercy and forgiveness upon them, and to grant the injured a speedy recovery.

The university emphasized that national unity represents the foundation of Jordan's strength and resilience, and that the bonds of brotherhood, tolerance, and mutual respect that unite Jordanians are more deeply rooted than any attempts to undermine their social fabric, stressing the importance of solidarity and standing as one in the face of everything that threatens the security and stability of the nation, and preserving the values of coexistence that distinguish Jordanian society under the Hashemite leadership.
