The head of the Ramtha Municipality Committee, Engineer Jamal Abu Obaid, explained that the municipality is currently intensifying its contacts and efforts to seek funding grants and financial support from international organizations and donor institutions to begin implementing a project for the inclusion, rehabilitation, and reconstruction of both Al-Jurf Park and Al-Bayda Park, given their vital importance as natural outlets and green spaces for residents and families in the area, and in response to the local community's repeated demands for their restoration to service.
Abu Obaid confirmed that the two parks had been subjected to repeated acts of vandalism and accumulated neglect, which caused severe damage to their infrastructure and service and recreational facilities for many years prior to the current committee's assumption of its duties in managing the municipality. He stressed that the municipality is striving to overcome financial challenges and provide the necessary allocations and grants to restore the parks and develop public facilities, ensuring the improvement of the environmental and service reality and enhancing the quality of life in various neighborhoods of Ramtha city.
