2335 tons of vegetables arrive at the Central Market

The quantities of vegetables that arrived at the Central Wholesale Market, affiliated with the Greater Amman Municipality, reached 2335 tons today, Sunday, while the quantity of fruits reached 998 tons and leafy greens 202 tons.

According to the Central Market bulletin and the price list of items that arrived today, based on the lowest and highest price per kilogram, the price of Navel oranges ranged between 60-85 piasters, black Ajami eggplant 15-25 piasters, dry onions 20-35 piasters, potatoes 20-45 piasters, tomatoes 8-20

piasters, carrots 20-30 piasters, lettuce 15-25 piasters, spinach 60-70 piasters, cucumbers 20-40

piasters, corn 20-50 piasters, cauliflower 25-65 piasters, olives 100-160 piasters, zucchini 65-100 piasters, lemons 50-110 piasters, cabbage 20-30 piasters, molokhia 20-30 piasters, and local bananas 50-85 piasters.
