1827 tons of vegetables arrive at the Central Market

The quantities of vegetables arriving at the Greater Amman Municipality's Central Wholesale Market on Tuesday reached 1,827 tons, while the quantity of fruits reached 832 tons, and leafy greens 206 tons.

According to the Central Market bulletin and the price list of items received today, based on the minimum and lowest price per kilogram, the price of Navel oranges ranged between 60-85 piasters, Ajamimi black eggplant 15-25 piasters, dry onions 20-35 piasters, potatoes 30-45 piasters, tomatoes 8-20

piasters, carrots 20-30 piasters, lettuce 20-30 piasters, spinach 60-70 piasters, cucumbers 20-40

piasters, corn 20-60 piasters, cauliflower 40-85 piasters, olives 100-170 piasters, zucchini 70-100 piasters, lemons 50-100 piasters, cabbage 20-30 piasters, mallow (molokhia) 15-30 piasters, and local bananas 55-85 piasters.
