2029 tons of vegetables arrive at the Central Market

The quantities of vegetables arriving at the Central Wholesale Market of the Greater Amman Municipality reached 2029 tons today, Monday, while the quantity of fruits reached 865 tons and leafy greens 196 tons.

According to the Central Market bulletin and the price list of items received today, based on the lowest and highest price per kilogram, the price of Navel oranges ranged between 60-85 piasters, Ajami black eggplant 10-25 piasters, dry onions 20-35 piasters, potatoes 20-45 piasters, and tomatoes 8-20

piasters, carrots 20-30 piasters, lettuce 15-25 piasters, spinach 60-70 piasters, and cucumbers 20-40

piasters, corn 20-50 piasters, cauliflower 25-65 piasters, olives 100-160 piasters, and zucchini 60-90

piasters, lemons 50-110 piasters, cabbage 20-30 piasters, molokhia 15-30 piasters, and local bananas 60-80 piasters.
