Zarqa: Seizure of Attacks on Water Lines Exceeding 3 Kilometers

Water Company cadres in Zarqa, in cooperation with security agencies, seized on Wednesday a number of attacks on main and secondary water lines in the western Al-Halabat and White Cement Street areas.

The company said the attacks involved the extension of secondary connections with different diameters and lengths, totaling more than 3 kilometers, to supply about 90 houses and farms, in addition to 3 large storage ponds, all of which are not served by water.

It added that the attacks also included lands owned by the state treasury, noting that its cadres will complete the estimation of the quantities of water attacked and prepare the necessary seizure orders against the attackers after the completion of the inventory work.

The campaign is part of the procedures to "tighten control, control and protect water sources", which the company implements in cooperation with security agencies to reduce attacks on water sources and networks.
