US Central Command denies Revolutionary Guard's claim of destroying a naval drone in the Strait of Hormuz

The US Central Command denied, on Friday, the validity of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard's claims regarding the destruction of a US military naval drone in the Strait of Hormuz, confirming that the claim is "completely false."

In a statement, the US Central Command said that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard claimed, on Thursday, to have destroyed a US military naval drone in the Strait of Hormuz, noting that this claim comes within a series of lies promoted by the Revolutionary Guard during the current week.

It confirmed that all unmanned military naval vessels belonging to the US Navy in the Middle East region are present and fully accounted for, including a fleet of advanced unmanned naval vessels that are conducting patrols in the Strait of Hormuz.

It added that these naval vessels continue their patrols to support the defensive system of the US Central Command.
