The situation currently experienced by the Arab region as a result of the Israeli and American war on Iran has left the region and its peoples' security threatened. This state of political instability has affected everyone, and we in Jordan are occasionally subjected to Iranian attacks on our lands and sovereignty, which we reject as non-innocent and popularly condemned assaults. This war, which has lasted for more than seven months, has harmed the global economy, raised oil and gas prices, and increased inflation, reflecting on everyone. Militarily, no party can win this war, and the sole beneficiary of its continuation is "Israel," as it carries the tools of destruction, ruin, and devastation everywhere. In Gaza, it has done what Nazism never did, reducing it to a wasteland, while simultaneously seeking to displace the population in a planned scheme for the next seven years. In the West Bank, it practices the utmost forms of racism using military force, settler herds, expanding land seizure, pressuring the population into forced migration, and demolishing homes, among other things. In wounded Lebanon, it occupies 600 sq km under the pretext of a security belt for northern settlements after destroying over 66 villages and population clusters. In war-torn Syria, the situation speaks for itself. The foundation of stability in the region is the resolution of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the establishment of the Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital. This has always been the steadfast Jordanian stance led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, who believes that there can be no stability in the region without resolving the Palestinian issue. Jordan always stands by central Arab issues and strives for peace and stability.
We stand by the Saudi people, king and government, against any aggression targeting the sovereignty of the fraternal Kingdom from any direction, whether east or south. We will not allow anyone, whoever they may be, to compromise the sovereignty of the Kingdom or any other Arab country, because we are Arab in origin and roots.
