"Trapped after work hours".. Details of a curious incident at the Irbid Transport Complex

The Irbid Central Transport Complex, known as the New Amman Complex in the city of Irbid, witnessed a curious incident when a number of employees heard the cries of a person calling for help from inside one of the complex's restrooms after it had been locked and operations had ended for the day.

According to the municipality's spokesperson, after hearing the person's voice inside the restroom, Civil Defense personnel were contacted. They arrived at the scene and broke the lock on the restroom door, revealing one of the drivers who works on one of the lines operating at the complex.

He indicated that the driver had been forgotten inside the restroom after it was locked and the day's work had concluded, finding himself trapped behind the locked door before his presence was discovered and he was released after his voice was heard.

The municipality noted that the incident ended without any injuries after the door was opened and the worker was removed from the premises.
