The women's national team wins friendly against its Saudi counterpart

The women's national team (U-20) achieved a 1-0 victory over its Saudi counterpart, with the goal scored by player Rital Salameh in the friendly match that brought them together this Tuesday evening at the Federation stadiums, as part of preparations for upcoming competitions.

The national team was represented in the match by: Sajeda Issa, Lilia Al-Sahli, Rital Salameh, Jana Imad, Sadeen Al-Damen, Julia Al-Safadi, Sama Al-Rousan, Yara Al-Bishieh, Riana Issa, Jana Al-Masri, Karma Al-Nabulsi, Mira Jarrar, Dana Abu Hazeem, and Rana Mahyar.

The national team delivered a distinguished performance throughout both halves of the match, asserting its dominance from the start and coming close to opening the scoring on more than one occasion, were it not for the brilliance of the Saudi national team's goalkeeper, who succeeded in keeping the score level throughout the first half, which ended in a goalless draw.

With the start of the second half, the national team continued its attacking pressure in search of an opening goal, but the Saudi defense succeeded in thwarting its attempts, before Salameh managed to score the only goal of the match following a set-piece executed inside the penalty area.

The national team had previously won the first encounter between the two teams with a score of 2-0.

Through providing training camps and friendly matches for the women's national team (U-20), the Jordan Football Association looks forward to achieving the highest levels of preparation and support to move forward in upcoming competitions.
